RIIHAN209E – Perform basic rigging

The RIIHAN209E – Perform Basic Rigging course covers essential skills and knowledge for performing basic rigging tasks. This includes planning rigging operations, preparing and inspecting rigging equipment, and safely moving loads.

Participants learn to access and interpret rigging documentation, write preliminary rigging plans, and identify and mitigate hazards. The course also covers selecting and inspecting rigging equipment, securing loads to prevent uncontrolled movement, and ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
