TLILIC0040 – Licence to Operate a Non-Slewing Mobile Crane (Greater than 3 Tonnes Capacity)
Unit of Competency
This course provides the essential skills and knowledge required to safely operate a non-slewing mobile crane with a Rated Capacity (RC) exceeding three tonnes, in compliance with all relevant legislative responsibilities. Please note that completing this unit does not automatically grant a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) to operate this equipment, nor does it permit driving an articulated mobile crane on public roads without a valid heavy vehicle licence issued by a transport regulator.

- Non-Slewing Mobile Crane Operation: Learn to operate mobile cranes with a boom or jib that cannot be slewed, including articulated and locomotive cranes (excluding vehicle tow trucks).
