Please note that completing this unit alone does not automatically qualify individuals for a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for rigging activities. \nCourse Highlights: \n\nIntermediate Rigging Operations: Learn to safely use mechanical load-shifting equipment and associated tools to move\, position\, or secure more complex loads\, such as plant components\, equipment\, and structural elements.\nComprehensive Planning and Preparation: Develop the skills to plan and prepare for intermediate rigging tasks\, ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols and legislative requirements.\nPractical Task Execution: Gain hands-on experience with intermediate rigging activities\, including tasks involving hoists with jibs or self-climbing mechanisms\, cranes\, conveyors\, and tilt-up concrete panels.\nEquipment Dismantling and Storage: Master proper procedures for dismantling and securely packing up intermediate rigging tools and equipment.\n\nIndustry Relevance \nRigging expertise is vital for construction and other industries where load shifting equipment is utilised. This course equips participants to handle these tasks with confidence and safety. \nLicensing/Regulatory Information \nA valid High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) is mandatory to perform rigging work.
