Please note that completing this unit does not automatically grant a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) to operate this equipment. \nCourse Highlights: \n\nBoom-Type EWP Operation: Learn to operate telescoping\, hinged\, or articulated devices\, or any combination thereof\, used to support a platform for elevating personnel\, equipment\, and materials.\nPlanning and Preparation: Understand how to plan and prepare for EWP tasks\, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.\nTask Performance: Gain practical experience in performing various EWP tasks\, including lifting\, moving\, and positioning loads.\nPack Up: Learn the correct procedures for packing up and securing the EWP after use.\n\nIndustry Relevance \nOperating a boom-type EWP is a critical skill in many industries\, including construction\, maintenance\, and logistics. This course ensures you are well-prepared to handle these tasks safely and efficiently. \nLicensing/Regulatory Information \nTo perform this work\, you must hold a boom-type EWP High Risk Work Licence (HRWL). This unit is based on the licensing requirements of Part 4.5 of the Model Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations and meets Commonwealth\, State\, and Territory HRWL requirements. \nPrerequisites \nWorking at heights \nDuration \nThe course is conducted over 3 days. \nEntry Requirements for High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) Courses \nTo enroll in a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) course at Platinum Training Solutions\, participants must meet the following entry requirements: \n\nParticipants must be at least 18 years of age.\nParticipants need to provide 100 points of identification\, including photo ID\, to verify their identity.\nParticipants must have a basic command of the English language.
