CPCCLSF3001 – Licence to Erect, Alter, and Dismantle Scaffolding Intermediate Level 

Unit of Competency Details

This course provides the essential skills and knowledge required to safely perform intermediate scaffolding work. You will learn to erect, alter, and dismantle temporary structures that support platforms from which a person or object could fall more than four metres.

Course Highlights:

  • Cantilevered Crane Loading Platforms: Gain expertise in working with cantilevered crane loading platforms.
  • Cantilevered and Spur Scaffolds: Learn to erect and dismantle cantilevered and spur scaffolds.
  • Barrow Ramps and Sloping Platforms: Master the setup and use of barrow ramps and sloping platforms.
  • Perimeter Safety Screens and Shutters: Understand scaffolding associated with perimeter safety screens and shutters.
  • Mast Climbing Work Platforms: Operate and maintain mast climbing work platforms.
  • Tube and Coupler Scaffolds: Work with tube and coupler scaffolds, including covered ways and gantries.

Prerequisites

To enroll in this course, you must have successfully completed the CPCCLSF2001 – Licence to Erect, Alter, and Dismantle Scaffolding Basic Level or hold a valid licence for basic scaffolding. Additionally, completion of the general construction induction training program, as specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required for anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry meets this requirement.
