The RIIHAN309F – Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler Operations course covers essential skills and knowledge for safely operating a telescopic materials handler (telehandler).

Key components include planning and preparing for operations, selecting, fitting, and removing attachments, and conducting pre-operational checks.

Participants learn to operate the telehandler, attach, secure, lift, carry, and place materials and loads, and relocate the telehandler from one site to another. The course also covers carrying out machine operator maintenance.
